疫清逼出買氣？HONDA Civic Type R限量版拿大線上訂車出現秒殺，100台車240秒賣光

唯有經典才能抵抗市場的風暴？新冠疫情肆虐，全球車市一片慘綠。不過經典車款仍然有人搶著要。HONDA去年2月宣布將推出限量特別版的Type-R Special Edition，全球限量600台，主要供應美國市場，加拿大只分配到100台。由於Type R的車身更加輕量化，並且強化操控性能，尤其是賽道戰力的提升，5月底在加拿大採取線上搶標方式供買家訂車，根據車商所說，100台Type R限量特別版，在240秒內被誯搶訂一空，顯然經典和限量打敗了疫情對新車買氣的壓抑。
HONDA Civic Type R的限量特別版據說是HONDA將用來挑戰紐柏林前輪驅動車的單圈最速紀錄的賽車，Civic Type-R想要打破雷諾的Megane R.S. Trophy-R的7分40秒的紀錄，因此全車進三全面性的輕量化，為了比Type-R標準車型更輕，它換裝BBS鍜造鋁圈，減重8.1公斤，再拿掉消音器和後加熱管，再減掉12.7公斤，車內的娛樂資訊系和空調等系統也一併移除。
同時為強化賽道的戰力，HONDA也加強此一限量版的賽道戰力，把原來配備的馬牌輪胎，更換為比較粘的米其林Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2，最後是將避震系統校到最佳戰鬥位置，並重新調校它的轉向系統，以取得更好的路面回饋。
為讓這台Type-R的街道版賽車視覺上更強悍，車色也不同於標準車型，採用的鳳凰黃色塗料，當年Acura 的Integra Type-R引進美國時，所有限量的600台全部都採用這種車色，而車內也採用一些對比的縫線。
由於Type R限量特別版還沒有報價，買家訂車得先付1000美元的押金，5月21日線上開賣，結國100台車在4分鐘內被秒殺。加拿大HONDA行銷部助理副總裁Steve Hui表示，同我們的預期，由於Civic Type R是廣受歡迎的經典車，一直擁有強大而忠實的粉絲群，他們對該車款的需求量一定會會很高。事實上,它雖是一個限量版，但它的銷售速度也確實教我們驚喜和驚訝。
HONDA加拿大分公司表示，需求將會非常高，因此他們提前準備。建立一個專門的在線專頁，這是該公司首次在加拿大使用這種線上銷售的方式賣車，沒有任何技術複雜，卻很成功，因此他們受到疫情和此次Type R特別版本的熱銷，預估未來人們線上購車會愈來愈普及，決定將加速未來的電子商務解決方案的推出。
