HONDA全新6代多功能休旅Stepwgn將於2022年1月7日首發，HONDA提前釋出官方影片

也在台灣販售HONDA的中大型多功能休旅車Odyssey，在全球SUV當道之下，各品牌的MPV多功能休旅，銷售多都受到壓抑，HONDA日本原廠已宣布Odyssey將於2021年底停產，而Odyssey的兄弟車Stepwgn卻反而得以延命，原廠將於2022年1月7日發表，未來它也會彌補Odyssey所留下的產品空缺。日本HONDA今日釋出2022年式Stepwgn的首發預告訊息和官方照。
HONDA在12月10日，於官方的特別網站上發佈了新款「Stepwgn」的預告圖和相關產品資訊，6代Stepwgn將於2022年春季發佈，HONDA預計將於2022年1月7日舉行日本線上首發。Stepwgn第一代是在1996年5月發表，原廠將它定位為創意移動載具系列（Creative Mover Series)，產品目的在於讓人們擁有愉快而且內容更豐盛的移動生活。歷代的Stepwgn追求的是讓全家人都能滿意，並具有出色的實用性，像是寬敞的室內空間，還有低底板設計，以及可收納在底板下的第3排座椅，適用性十分廣泛，具有多樣化功能的用車。
從2022年式Stepwgn的預告網頁上，可以看到它的車名加了e:HEV字樣，顯示它將是一台油電複合動力車型，同時原廠也預告6代Stepwgn外觀上大量採用鍍鉻裝飾，此外，它也具備安靜駕乘的舒適性和寬敞的空間，包括提供駕駛大視野和駕駛輔助功能，讓擅長駕駛的人和不熟悉駕駛的人，都能可以自由移動，安全出遊。
