為讓孩童開心就醫治療不再恐懼，HONDA美國分公司推出迷你電動車Shogo以取代傳統的輪椅

為了化解孩童們在醫院就診治療的恐懼與壓力，北美HONDA打造一台名為Shogo的純電動移動載具，用以取代輪椅，讓病童們可以在駕馭電動車的歡樂和趣味中就診，這項積極而溫馨的創意設計，已由美國加州Orange郡的兒童健康醫院率先試行。
由HONDA所設計的Shogo迷你電動車，透過省略車門和車頂的設計，可以讓孩童們輕鬆地坐進車子中央的座椅，而它的方向盤上有行進和煞停的控制按鍵，可讓孩子們操控，這台移動載具的車速最高只有5哩，而最緩慢蠕行，則車速只有1哩，車速可由護理人員或護士控制。車型設計十分時尚，完全具備一台輪椅的所有功能， 一些附加的功能性設計，不僅很實用，也是一般輪椅所沒有，包括一個可吊掛點滴藥瓶和其他醫療器材的IV桿支架，加上可供攜帶各種泵浦和醫療設備的空間位置，另有一枝推桿，可讓成年人推動這台電動車。
Shogo的車前有置物桶，可攜帶孩子們心愛的玩具或絨毛動物，同時車後方有可以客制化的車牌，另外還有置杯架，同時車子也配置不同聲音的喇叭，菖車身表面則做了處理，便於清潔。
美國HONDA汽車豪華造型設計師Randall Smock表示，Shogo的每個元素設計目的在於滿足幼兒的不同需求，讓他們盡可能容易上下車，而駕駛操作也十分簡單，可以讓孩子們體驗駕車經驗，同時讓他們保持快樂的心情。
