HONDA Prelude上戰場！ 推出全新Prelude GT賽道版

一個月前，HONDA才推出全新升級的Prelude，本周HONDA就發表了Prelude賽車版本Prelude-GT，預計將於明年投入比賽，成為HONDA在日本超級GT系列賽頂級GT500級別賽事中新的挑戰者。它的外觀或許與新款Prelude相似，但內在卻截然不同。
與所有現成 GT500 車型一樣，Prelude-GT 採用碳纖維單體車殼打造，其運動型碳纖維車身和市售公路版車型相似。根據賽車規定，Prelude-GT 搭載一具渦輪增壓 2.0 升四缸引擎，其最大功率約為 650 hp馬力，並透過六速序列式變速箱將動傳遞至後輪。因此，與 200 匹馬力的量產車型相比，Prelude-GT 動力值有顯著差異。
Prelude-GT 將與Toyota GR Supra GT500 和日產 Z Nismo GT500 同場展開競爭。它取代了HONDA之前的超級 GT 賽車Civic Type R-GT，後者的四門車型不利於打造具有競爭力的賽車。按過往成績，Civic Type R-GT 在過去兩年的比賽中僅贏取得過一次勝利。今年，它的成績甚至沒有超過第二名，而TOYOTA的賽車則在賽道上，各自佔據主導地位。
HONDA車隊的總監佐伯正弘表示，我們認為，透過將過去兩年累積的知識應用於基於Prelude平台的超級GT賽車的開發，我們有望達到比Civic Type R-GT更高的水平。明年，超級GT大賽 也將取消空氣動力學限制，因此場上競爭應該會更加激烈。
