共乘車道不能開了？HONDA Civic 車主沒在怕！

加州 Civic GX 瓦斯車與即將上市的全新 Civic Natural Gas 將可繼續行駛 HOV 共乘車道直到 2015 年。HONDA 做為目前在美國唯一致力於設計並生產 CNG 液化天然氣和低碳排放小車的車商，Civic Natural Gas 車款已獲加州 Clean Air Vehicle 白色貼紙等級認證，未來領有這些貼紙的超環保車款將能繼續享有行駛共乘車道的優惠。而 Hybird 油電混合動力車使用的 Clean Air Vehicle 黃色貼紙則於 2011 年 7 月 1日到期，已無法繼續行駛共乘車道。
HONDA對Civic Natural Gas（1988-2011年間稱為Civic GX）估計，市區／高速／綜合的油耗約為11.4／16／13 km/L。相較於2011年，市區的油耗表現進步12.5%，高速的部分進步5.5%。Civic Natural Gas 搭載革命性的ECO Assist駕駛輔助系統，只需輕輕一按，即可增強行車駕駛效率，並提供視覺上的及時回饋，增強並穩定更有效率的駕駛表現。
「長久以來，加州 Civic GX 的車主已經享受了駕駛瓦斯車的種種好處，包括不用塞在一般汽車道以節省通勤時間、更低的燃料價、減少對汽油的依賴性以及減少碳足跡。」美國 HONDA 替代能源發展研究部高級經理 Elmer Hardy 說道；「今秋將發表的全新車款將延續這些有利於廣大通勤族的種種特色。」
2012 年式 Civic Natural Gas 系列配備各項創新特色。駕駛者導向的智慧型 i-MID 多重資訊顯示系統，配有 5 吋 LCD 螢幕與控制按鍵方向盤，提供一個整合各項行車資訊的平台，並相容於個人電子設備。相容行動電話的藍芽免持系統，與相容一般音樂撥放器的 USB 音訊界面也都是標準配備，另外，HONDA 衛星導航系統與 FM Traffic 交通資訊接收功能也為這次的賣點。值得一提的是，這次導航系統的圖資將包含瓦斯車加氣站的位置。
受益於日漸增多的瓦斯車加氣站，瓦斯車的車主要補充燃料將愈來愈方便和經濟。擁有超過 110 座瓦斯車加氣站，加州有著全美最健全的液化天然氣基礎建設。從價格的觀點來看，根據以往的資料顯示，每多一座加氣站，液化天然氣的價格每 GGE（約 3.785 公升）將比汽油少 30%。此外，加州對 Civic GX 的需求已達歷史高峰，上半年的銷售表現是去年同期的三倍。
