作為HONDA旗下油電主力之一，新年式Insight車型的全新官圖也予以釋出，相較於歐規車款，日規車款在外觀方面進行了相當大的修改，而在動力單位方面，新車也採用了第三代混合動力系統來強化車輛的節能以及動能表現。
外觀方面，新車針對車頭的鍍鉻飾條以及大尺寸進氣格柵進行修改，尤其是相互以鍍鉻飾條連貫的LED頭燈可說是充分地展現出HONDA的家族式設計語彙。值得一提的是，為了有效吸引年輕買家們的目光，保險桿也以更具立體感的風格強調視覺上的立體感。車側部分可說是新車的另一項重點，尤其是充滿連貫性的車身曲線配合向上突起的尾翼更加深了車輛的跑格質感。
內裝部分雖然尚未公布詳細資訊不過為了配合充滿運動質感的外觀表現，相信座艙內部將會採用更具競速感的配置。最後是動力部分，新年式車款將採用1.5L配合雙電動馬達的第三代混合動力系統。據悉將能發揮152hp最大馬力以及25.3kgm峰值扭力，油耗表現方面，根據車廠所釋出的資訊，新車將擁有4.24L/100km的成績。值得一提的是，新車也提供了Normal、Sport以及Econ三種駕駛模式，配合不同的行車條件進行調整的話，節能表現也將再次提升。
