HONDA全新七代Civic掀背車全球首發，更緊湊的身形搭配更運動化的操駕

雖然目前與台灣市場無緣，不過它的問世仍教人目不轉睛！HONDA去年為北美市場推出全新7代的Civic Sedan四門房車，今日則為歐洲市場發表全新Civic Hatchback掀背車
雖然是同一車系，不過今日登場的2022年式Civic掀背車，在造型上仍和四門房車有些許不同，在車頭的部分，可以看到完全不同水箱護罩格柵，採六角形開口設計，結合蜂巢式格柵，與四門房車的橫柵風格迥異。而車尾的差異更為顯著，有著更緊湊的身形。因為少了後懸，加上車長比四門房車短了12.4公分。
Civic Hatchback 的前部採用與轎車不同的格柵，採用六角形開口，而不是四門的水準板條。更顯著的變化是在後面。這種模型看起來視覺上更緊湊，因為後懸空和整體長度是4.9英寸（12.4釐米）比轎車短。圓弧的車頂線條，使Civic掀背車比起四門房車顯得更為時尚，而尾燈造型也有所不同，採取LED光條銜接左右尾燈，構成全幅式尾燈組，和四門房車尾燈左右分立，在視覺自然有很大的差別。
此外，新車的尾門開口比起前一代Civic掀背寬了4.06公分，置物便利性明顯提升，同時行李廂上蓋具有側拉設計，方便開閤，而行李廂容量比起前一代稍稍縮水，從728公升縮為694公升。
在內裝的部分，HONDA並未公布任何座艙的圖像，但可預見它大抵上比照已上市的美國四門房車的座艙鋪陳與配置，應該是有全新的全數位化10.2吋儀錶，另外配備全新懸浮式中控螢幕，其規格為標準的7吋螢幕，另可選配9吋螢幕，而按HONDA所說，全新的中控多媒體系統配備了更簡明的功能表，同時支援Apple CarPlay和Android Auto垚智慧手機無線連結功能。
動力操控部分，與四門房車不同，Civic掀背車除了全車系標配CVT無段變速箱，更提供六速手排變速箱的選項，全車系主打2.0升自然進氣汽油引擎，最大馬力180hp，最大扭力187Nm，而日手排車型配備1.5升渦輪增壓四缸汽油引擎，最大馬力180hp，最大扭力240Nm。HONDA也表示，掀背車在懸吊和轉向都了一些校，使整體操駕更具運動感。
