    開創劃時代新格局─HONDA全新Civic(3)

1984年HONDA第三代Civic,導入了所謂的M.M.思想,將機械空間極小化、乘坐空間極大化,至今Civic在車室空間與座艙視野開闊度上,總是令人嘉許,而全新的第八代Civic,當然承襲了一貫的優良傳統!

首先一般判斷車室空間寬敞,最直接的軸距長度上,全新的Civic一舉達到2700mm,不僅超過現有台灣市場上的1.6-2.0升中型房車,更已介國產中大型防車的水準,先天的優勢再加上HONDA一貫於空間設計上的長才,讓全新的Civic在車長未增加太多下,創造優渥的座艙空間。

此外,也許有許多同級車在空間表現上,與HONDA的車款相仿,不過在乘坐HONDA車款時,卻有著較佳的視野與車室明亮度,在全新的Civic上再導入座艙前移的概念,將A柱盡可能的向前延伸,大面積的前擋玻璃,讓Civic有著與休旅車相仿的前方視野,而在A柱向前延伸後,後視鏡未因此一並向前位移,而是採用飛翼式設計,維持在傳統的位置,讓駕駛的視角不因此而改變,此外,側邊玻璃也因A柱向前延伸,多出了一個類似休旅車的三角窗,此設計對於在彎道中判別路況極為受用,不用再以往擔心過彎時,也遭A柱所遮擋。

至於在後座的部份,全新Civic也延用於第七代Civic首創的果嶺式平整底板,將一般傳統房車底板中央攏起的部份拉平,此設計也讓後座中央的乘客,於腿部空間上獲得舒解,不用再像以往,必須不舒服的跨於兩邊,為Civic的座艙空間表現,加分不少!

整體而言,車室空間一向都是Civic車系的強項,只是在全新的Civic上,同樣再提升了一個層級,讓台灣的相近對手,難以望其項背!
