    HONDA科技巡禮(2):最強FF鋼砲Downsizing,Civic Type R無偽裝搶先體驗

過去各界對於新Civic Type R的印象,僅止於包著偽裝的模樣,這回參加HONDA的全球媒體活動,原廠就這麼將偽裝撕去,更大方地讓所有人親身體驗這款最強FF鋼砲,縱使非最終量版本,但說真的成熟度已經相當高,且短暫接觸後再試駕其他車款,我完全提不起勁來。






自從HONDA調整方針朝大眾路線靠攏後,旗下的性能車幾乎消失殆盡,碩果僅存的Civic Type R卻無法在節能和樂趣取得平衡,且品牌形象已和創辦人本田宗一郎的初衷背道而馳,直到現任社長伊東孝紳就任後,不僅重新尋回HONDA精神,更全力開發追求性能和樂趣的車款,當然也藉由馬達或者渦輪增壓同時創造低油耗、低排污和高性能,尤其1.0L、1.5L、2.0L這三具新開發的直列四直噴缸DOHC DI VTEC渦輪增壓引擎,更完全落實Downsizing的趨勢,當中更以2.0L心臟和新Civic Type R組合,雖然原廠目前尚無確切數據,但至少公佈的資料顯示可爆發277hp馬力和40.8kgm扭力,並和六速手排變速箱組合,但HONDA相關工程師私下透露,目前這仍為Prototype模式,2014年量產版本將有可能達285-290hp的馬力輸出,主要是現階段還有如扭力、懸吊、油耗等問題等需調整,因此最終如何還未定案。

以歐規五門為基礎的Civic Type R,造型上在多樣空力套件的加持下顯得更具霸氣,換上網狀水箱護罩、加裝大型擾流尾翼,以及四出排氣尾管、後保桿下方的分流器、19吋輪圈(235/35R19輪胎)、紅色煞車卡鉗等,並和消光黑的車體組合,縱使仍是Prototype,也尚未裝上「R」家族的紅色廠徽特徵,但那分高度侵略性與不能輕易招惹的態勢,相信任何人看到都得讓他三分。內裝部分則配置兩張麂皮桶型賽車座椅,方向盤也以皮革包覆,並換上金屬踏板與手工雕磨的排檔桿頭,單這樣就足以令人腎上腺素激增,更何況是按下紅色引擎啟動鍵、發動那紅色汽缸頭心臟的瞬間。

以一檔從起始區緩緩進入環型跑道,已經感覺引擎和運轉聲浪在向我拋媚眼,並不斷地挑逗我,由於僅有一圈的機會,一出限制區我當然就大腳油門直奔斷油的紅線區,明顯得扭力的拉扯讓Civic Type R突然變得不好控制,旋即排入二檔將轉速降低些,雖說車輛變得稍稍溫馴,但動力之充沛令我整個人就這麼陷入座椅內,強烈的貼背感到三檔、四檔依然存在,此時以時速150km/h高速上彎道,車體剛性之好並不會覺得扭曲,我就放膽進入五檔,時速表在直線區落在209kmh,此時前方的車輛瞬間變成活動路障,稍點煞車踏板並退至三檔,乖乖,煞車反應頗靈敏,一下子就拉開與前車的距離,而Civic Type R依舊在我的掌控之中。所以我結束這一圈的行程回到起始區後,心中可是百般不捨和失落。



嚴格來說新一代Civic Type R可是比其他前輩都來得更成熟,戰鬥力也來得強,同時外觀造型都充滿吸引人的條件,大家所擔心的渦輪遲滯幾乎沒有,更是HONDA創廠以來第一款市售渦輪增壓性能車,真要和其他對手相比絕對有勝出的機會,畢竟所有的新技術都是HONDA結晶,也是重新定位樂趣的開始,最終能否獲得市場青睞就取決於身價,看來這是原廠必須深思的問題。
