就像FORD貨卡車系在美國長期盤據最暢銷車款，HONDA Civic在加拿大也同樣有著這樣的銷售實力，Civic在2013年度就以60,651輛的銷售數量榮獲年度暢銷車款的美名，同時這也是Civic連續第16年蟬聯銷售榜冠軍，再再顯示Civic儼然成為加拿大民眾心目中的最佳車款代表。

或許讀者對於加拿大汽車市場不慎熟悉，讓我們以簡單的數據來說明起。領土面積達998萬平方公里的加拿大，為全世界面積第二大的國家，但由於領土大半靠近北極氣候嚴峻，使得加拿大人口相較於其他高度開發國家而言，僅約為較少的3500萬，全國人口甚至比美國加州還少，相較於美國2013年上看1500萬輛的汽車市場規模，加拿大也只有174萬輛，儘管相對少數，但加拿大汽車市場仍然位列全球前10大，也成為各大車廠角力的戰場之一。

HONDA於1969年成立了加拿大分公司，就相當致力於當地市場的競逐，1973年以來超過390萬輛的Civic於加拿大安大略省Alliston廠區生產，目前加拿大市場還保有超過170萬輛的Civic，靠著優異的產品實力及價格優勢，Civic也逐漸成為加拿大車主選購車輛時的考慮名單，並且於1988年起，一舉比下當時由CHEVROLET Cavalier把持的王位，成功的成為加拿大全年的銷售暢銷車款，並且一佔就長達16年之久。

儘管加拿大2013年度汽車市場總結，FORD靠著皮卡的熱銷，依舊站穩第一的寶座，CHRYSLER位居第二、GM集團第三、TOYOTA第四，而HONDA則位列第五，但HONDA Civic在乘用車市場卻是以60,651的銷售數字與第二名的HYUNDAI Elantra拉出多達接近9千輛的銷售差距，顯然Civic的高C/P值讓許多加拿大車主買單。
