機器人工學智慧結晶，HONDA新版ASIMO首登歐洲

有參觀2014台北車展HONDA展區的讀者，想必對與HONDA Girls一同跳舞、並且會簡單問話的人工智慧機器人ASIMO感到非常驚奇，而最新版本的ASIMO也在4月的紐約車展中亮相，堪稱是HONDA工業技術的最高結晶，而近日新ASIMO也首度登上歐洲，並在歐盟主要行政區比利時布魯塞爾亮相。
還記得日前美國總統歐巴馬造訪了東京地區知名的「日本科學未來館」，ASIMO還代表館方接見，甚至以簡單的句子「Mr. President, I am ASIMO, a humanoid robot. It is a pleasure to meet you.」問候，甚至還展現了包括跑步、踢足球以及單腳跳等功能，讓人印象深刻。
而本次歐洲行，ASIMO再度展現高超技巧，像是可以辨別多個臉孔並且與人對話，手部動作變得更靈巧，可以執行打開飲料罐、到飲料等動作，甚至還可以比日本與美國手語，腳步動作也同時加強，使得ASIMO步行速度能夠達到9km/h，比起前代快了近3km/h，並且能夠做出倒著跑、跳躍、單腳站立等高難度動作，同時ASIMO也能夠判斷人的行徑路線，以避免發生碰種。
HONDA自1986年起，就已著手開發雙足行走的類人型機器人，並在2000年時發表了。ASIMO的名字來源於Advanced（新紀元）、Step in（進入）、Innovative（創新）、Mobility（移動工具）的首字母縮寫，承襲了HONDA對「移動文化」的追求與執著。ASIMO的研發成功，不僅是HONDA先進與挑戰的科技表現，更展現了HONDA追求夢想、實現夢想的企業精神。
