    2015 HONDA先進科技之旅(3):實現真正的夢想,八鄉隆弘社長專訪

一般要擔任HONDA社長者,通常要先擔任本田技術研究所的社長,然而今年55歲的八鄉隆弘卻破格成為HONDA新一任掌舵者,當然八鄉隆弘之所以獲得前任社長伊東孝紳的推薦,主要還是八鄉隆弘的歷練與HONDA全球策略有關。

工程師出身的八鄉隆弘曾在美國、歐洲、中國出任要職,並在HONDA總公司擔任常務執行董事,之所以拔擢成為HONDA新社長,乃在於他有著強烈且明確的世界觀,同時更符合企業年輕化的趨勢,同時亦傾聽消費者的聲音,創造更多的產品與技術來實現夢想。

原本一度中止的NSX開發計畫,在前任社長伊東孝紳時重新啟動,同時也致力於開發小排氣渦輪增壓引擎與諸多新技術,並在2015年東京車展發表新世代NSX、Civic Type R與燃料電池車Clarity,以及CRF 1000L Africa Twin、新世代CB甚至即將進入量產的Super Cub Concept、EV-Cub Concept等,就連自動駕駛和新一代PHEV、燃料電池等都是接下來HONDA的發展重點,對此八鄉隆弘表示,HONDA在過去幾年不斷與市場和顧客溝通,希望能在現實與概念之間取得平衡,尤其創辦人本田宗一郎的夢想,就是要能滿足顧客要望,這些來自全球顧客的聲音HONDA都聽到了,因此在短時間內進行調整,就為了要滿足需求,同時這正是HONDA的企業精神所在。

而日本加入TPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership)跨太平洋夥伴協定夥伴,八鄉隆弘可是樂觀其成,且就他所知HONDA與日本其他車廠也都舉雙手贊成,畢竟在各國有統一的遊戲規則下讓關稅更低,無疑能確保日本車廠在出口上的優勢,當然HONDA也會加速開發適合各市場需求的產品,相信在TPP架構下全球汽車市場將可創造另一波的新高峰與新局面。

至於未來HONDA的目標是什麼?八鄉隆弘認為就是創造零污染、零事故的社會,並希望能為了實現顧客的夢想,將之變成HONDA永續經營的原動力。
