後勤一大功臣！HONDA美國HPPG變速箱廠建廠10周年

為了拓展北美市場，HONDA於1959年進軍美國、開始拓展其業務，至今在北美投資超過220億美元（約新台幣7186億）建設R&D研發設計中心與生產工廠，負責HONDA與ACURA品牌的設計與製造，包含引擎、割草機、發電機等也都是業務範圍，目前擁有員工數超過4萬名。
而深耕北美已久的HONDA近日傳來好消息，坐落在美國喬治亞州與當地179家聯營公司共同成立的HPPG（Honda Precision Parts of Georgia）的變速箱工廠達成建廠10周年的里程碑。
於2006年啟動生產線的HPPG，從生產5速變速箱起家，在2012年透過大規模投資進行產線升級，進而開始生產6速變速箱，並在2010年10月4日完成該廠累積生產百萬具變速箱的里程碑，至今已經生產了270萬具的規模，目前年產能可達37.5萬具，而生產的變速箱則供應給HONDA旗下Odyssey、Pilot、Ridgeline等車型使用。
