HONDA中國累積銷售破1000萬領先其他日本對手，日系三大2018決戰CUV

到2018年5月，HONDA在中國的汽車累計最終銷售量突破1000萬輛，在日本三大品牌之中，領先NISSAN和TOYOTA。根據本田中國的統計，在過去5年內，HONDA的銷售量翻了一倍，單是2017年，HONDA在中國的終端銷售量更達到146萬輛，創下銷售歷史新高。

HONDA在中國透過合資企方式，在1998年和廣州汽車合資成立廣汽本田，並於次年開始投產首款國產車型Accord，2003年7月，則與東風合資成立東風本田，先後投產CR-V、CIVIC等車款。除全球化車型之外，HONDA在中國也推出許多在地化車型，如淩派（CRIDER）、冠道（AVANCIER）、XR-V、UR-V等。

同時，HONDA在中國也啟動FUNTEC技術品牌升級戰略，先後導入 SPORT HYBRID、SPORT TURBO、HONDA SENSING、Honda CONNECT智慧互聯等科技。

事實上，日系三大品牌在中國的競逐十分激烈，2017年，三方的差距已經拉近，2017年，如TOYOTA在中國的銷售量為113萬輛，NISSAN則為111.8萬，HONDA為141萬多。

市場分析人士認為，TOYOTA落後的關鍵主要在於CUV跨界休旅車。HONDA在中國銷售主力，是Vezel和XR-V，Vezel也就是台灣本田銷售的HR-V，另外以Vezel衍生的中國市場限定跨界休旅XR-V。不過TOYOTA也正在急起直追，2018年在中國推出在地生產組裝的C-HR，預計6到7月在中國上市，可望增加15萬輛的銷售。
