就在別家汽車媒體還停留在「間諜照」階段同時，身為華文最速汽車媒體的AutoNet當然要來點不同的…奉上HONDA新世代CR-V原廠照，怎樣，夠意思吧！
2001年問世的現行CR-V車款，根據日系車廠產品週期推算，已屆臨了大改款時程，不過雖然消息不斷，但正式官方資料卻從未透露，最大極限也僅止於測試中的間諜照而已。而在AutoNet翻箱倒櫃、蒐遍全球各大汽車資訊站後，終於皇天不負苦心人，找到了熱騰騰的HONDA新世代CR-V官方照片，就讓我們一起來看看到底有何改變！
如同先前間諜照所公佈的，全新CR-V將原有的車頭造型大幅改變，水箱護罩的設計從原有的簡單梯形，改為分離式樣，上方依舊為倒梯形設計，下方則與頭燈連成一氣，除了頭燈面積加大外，中央進氣口也加入了三條橫柵式鍍鉻式條，設計感更為豐富。車尾D柱則將過去的方正線條予以圓融處理，圓弧的造型搭配依舊的直立尾燈設計，並將尾門開啟方式改為傳統上掀模式。
內裝方面的變異，最明顯之處包含有類似八代Civic般的前衛造型方向盤與全新的半島式懸浮中控台，也因此造成了排檔的位置由原先的柱排改為懸浮式中央排檔設計，而儀表板未如先前預測般導入雙層式設計，不過也改成了雙圓環配置；由於液晶螢幕的整合系統，使得中控台操作介面更為簡化，空調改為左右雙旋鈕與中央單排按鍵設計，相當簡單大方。
動力系統則搭載2.4升VTEC四缸引擎，不過針對輸出稍稍調校，最大馬力為166hp，峰值扭力則為22.3kgm。變速系統則將原有的五速手排變速箱捨棄，僅留下五速自排變速系統。
將於十月份開始銷售的新世代CR-V，內部空間也在車身尺碼長大後有了小幅成長；車型方面依照配備的不同，提供了四種不同等級，最入門則從美金21,400元起跳，相當於台幣70萬左右；新世代CR-V同樣於配備方面加碼，在入門車款導入了皮椅與XM衛星廣播系統，而更上一層的車款也可選擇觸控式液晶螢幕，與聲控式導航系統等。
