首部HONDA Odyssey福祉車美國上市

美國HONDA 11月7日宣佈，鳳凰城知名廂型車改裝廠VMI已完成了第一輛HONDA Odyssey福祉車的改裝，並將在全美150家授權經銷商上市。

VMI成立於1987年，以各型客車之福祉設施改裝為主要產品。此車採用已有12年歷史的VMI Northstar系統，可伸出一傾斜8度的坡道以利輪椅由側門進出。車內地板也降低11英吋高度供輪椅置放。對此次合作案，VMI執行長Doug Eaton表示「Odyssey是同級車品質的指標」，而HONDA產品計劃經理John Watts也表示「HONDA公司的本質是『動』的，此次合作案與我們的哲學一致。」

VMI將於接單後向HONDA購車，並於位在鳳凰城的新裝配線進行改裝。首批車已於10月10日起出貨至全美授權經銷商。
