HONDA將發展柴油V6引擎？ACURA首輛柴油車即將問世？

AUTONET記者：明以(12/07/2006星期四)

不久之前，我們就已經報導過，HONDA將大舉研發用於市售車款的新世代環保柴油動力系統，而且也將以符合美國法規標準為目標！

2009年之後，美規的ACURA MDX就有機會搭載新世代V6柴油引擎囉...

除了原本傳言中的全新四缸柴油引擎之外，原廠表示他們還將推出一具大排氣量的V6共軌柴油動力系統，並且將提供美規HONDA Ridgeline、Odyssey、Pilot與ACURA MDX車系搭載，在這具V6新世代柴油引擎問世之前，現行歐規Accord車系所搭載的2.2升共軌柴油引擎的進化版本，也將在2008年以前問世，全新V6版本便以這具四缸柴油引擎為基礎研發。

除此之外，為了解決目前HONDA北美產能不足的問題，原廠也將在成本更低的墨西哥境內尋找適合蓋廠的地點，以滿足將來HONDA與ACURA兩大品牌在北美汽車市場供需失調的問題。
