一輛車從計畫、設計、生產到問世，已經從過去的四到五年進步到兩年左右，除了強大的電腦繪圖軟體，最主要是設計人才更多，像日本HONDA在二月下旬推出的全新Crossover Crossroad，車身型態可是在30秒就決定！
30秒決定一款車的外型走向，這可是相當大膽的創舉。當初HONDA旗下負責設計Crossroad的團隊，一開始就希望能將長度壓在4.2公尺，且產品定位又是強調多功能的Crossover，所以就以聞名全球的HUMMER H2為假想敵，在30秒內所有成員意見一致，決定以剛直線條為基準，創造出宛如H2的小SUV。
雖然Crossroad比H2的尺寸小很多，但兩者確有多處非常神似，當然為了能將車身外型和Stream共用底盤，因此軸距從2740mm縮短為2700mm，且明定內部空間必須可容納三排七座，因此運用最先進的電腦繪圖技術，大約不到一個星期許多草繪圖就誕生了，經過約一個月的時間最終則選擇三個方案，其中之依舊是現在的型態。
其實不止是HONDA設計團隊，相信現在車廠的設計精英輩出，且在集眾人智慧與力量和精準的市場調查，再加上底盤平台共用的模式，要創造出一輛符合消費者需求的車款絕非難事，只不過30秒就決定方向，這實在太不可思議了。
