根據最新消息指出，HONDA將在本月下旬開幕的2007年東京國際車展上，發表可能成為新世代CRX後繼車的全新小型轎跑車概念原型，這輛新車其實就是去年洛杉磯北美國際車展首發的HONDA Remix概念小跑車的進化版本。
曾經在1989-1997年間在全球市場上銷售的CRX小型轎跑車，當初是以Civic車系底盤為基礎衍生的個性化運動車款，根據最新消息指出，即將在東京國際車展發表的進化版本原型車，將比當初的Remix概念車更接近未來的量產版本，而且底盤將以八代Civic車系為基礎衍生，這款新車未來將以北美與日本國內市場為主，在北美市場其直接競爭對手就屬以美規Corolla車系衍生的SCION tC轎跑車系。
