隨著小改款2009年式HONDA Civic Type-S /五門掀背，在2008年巴黎車展進行首演，英國HONDA也推出Civic Type-R Champion White。

隨著小改款2009年式HONDA Civic Type-S /五門掀背，在2008年巴黎車展進行首演，英國HONDA也推出Civic Type-R Champion White，讓喜愛具備紅色H品牌標誌的車迷，未來能夠在英國買到這一款特仕車。

Civic Type-R Champion White將會在HONDA位於英國Swindon汽車裝配廠製造。

Civic Type-R Champion White將會在HONDA位於英國Swindon汽車裝配廠製造，其特殊的車體塗裝主要是為了紀念HONDA在1963年推出的F1一級方程式賽車，裝配18吋白色烤漆鋁合金輪圈，上面同樣繪有紅色H品牌標誌，再加上品牌標誌、油箱蓋、Type-R銘牌等處輔以鍍鉻處理，以彰顯其不同身份。
在動力部份，Civic Type-R Champion White同樣搭載2.0升i-VTEC引擎，可輸出最大馬力200hp/8000rpm，懸吊系統經過強化，並且加裝LSD防滑差速器（Limited Slip Differential），增強其操控性能與駕駛樂趣。根據原廠測試結果顯示，Type-R GT在日本Tsukaba賽車場實測，比一般Type-R單圈還要快上1.44秒。
原廠希望讓Civic Type-R Champion White，更容易被一般消費者使用，更能在需要的時後，享受源自HONDA血統的競技精神。
