隨著1980年代日本車在全球大放異彩，1990年代可算是邁入高峰期，尤其在日本泡沫經濟之前，各車廠的產品多到令人眼花撩亂，同時為了技術提昇更和許多歐美車廠合作，當然跑車在此時更成為個性及財富的象徵。

CR-V
|
1992年11月：以第五代Civic為基礎而誕生的Domani，基本上被原廠設定為Concerto的後繼車，所以在外型、內裝甚至動力底盤的設計上，均可看見Civic的影子，不過定位上卻較Civic來得年輕。而動力方面共有三具：1.8升B18B DOHC（140hp）、1.6升VTEC（130hp）、1.6升（120hp），隨後於1994年又增加一具1.5升VTEC-E（94hp）的引擎。1997年1月，第二代Domani與第六代Civic並沒有太大的差別，動力方面與Civic相同，共有1.6升VTEC-E（120hp）、1.6升（120hp）與1.5升（105hp）三種。
1995年10月：外型洗鍊並具有強烈都會氣息的CR-V，可說是HONDA第一部高底盤的休旅車。以Civic底盤為藍本的CR-V，外掛式備胎的設計的確增添幾分越野風，無中扶手與落地式排檔座（自排車型）則營造出更為寬敞的空間。2.0升B20B DOHC引擎為CR-V的單一標準動力，五速手排與四速自排則為變速箱的選擇。為了達到饒富生活上的趣味與方便性，摺疊式餐桌及兩段式開啟後尾廂車門/玻璃也隨車附贈。
1996年2月：以第六代Civic車身暨底盤為基礎，加上Orthia的頭燈組，便成為Integra SJ，此部四門房車引擎僅有1.5升VTEC自然進氣（105hp）一種設定。此車的出現無非是想藉由Integra的名氣，以提昇消費者對Civic的買氣，可惜此招並未引來太多顧客的青睞。
1996年3月：由於休旅市場的大幅需求，因此便以第六代四門Civic的底盤為基礎，設計出強調運動性的五門旅行車Orthia。這部4570×1695×1450mm、2620mm軸距的Orthia，雖是Civic的衍生車種，但置物空間卻可由標準的436公升變化至820公升，而且動力上與Accord B20B（2.0升DOHC 145hp/18.2kgm）、Integra的B18B（1.8升DOHC 140hp/17.2kgm）兩具引擎相同。同時四輪雙A臂懸吊底盤與四輪驅動系統均為它的標準配備。
