HONDA在印度發表Accord V6新車，並延遲投產計畫！

受到金融海嘯影響全球車市的消費景氣，已經有不少車廠陸續宣布將延遲或取消旗下建立新工廠或擴產的計畫，日前HONDA印度分公司也宣布，原本的印度第二汽車工廠落成時間將向後延遲，目前尚未有具體結論與時間表，在此同時也發表了Accord V6頂級旗艦車款於當地銷售。
根據HONDA印度分公司市場營銷副總裁Jnaneshwar Sen表示，由於市場需求量減少，所以原本計畫在印度境內建立第二工廠的進度將予以延遲，目前施工中的印度第二工廠將持續完成結構工程，但在結構工程完成後，將暫時不與安裝相關的生產設備，而原本計畫增聘人員的時程也將延後，最快該廠要恢復生產準備也要等到2011年底，比原本計畫的今年底延遲約二年的時間。
Jnaneshwar Sen指出，目前HONDA印度分公司所擁有的新德里Greater Noida整車廠產能足以滿足新車訂單的需求，所以因此暫停印度第二工廠的計畫，當然主要的考量還是在不景氣時期節約成本，不過原廠也將稍微調整德里廠的產能與部分設備，並且於今年稍晚投產HONDA Jazz新車，這也將讓德里整車廠的年產能由原有的六萬輛提升為十萬輛新車。
此外，日前HONDA印度分公司針對當地市場宣布全新2009年式Accord V6頂級動力旗艦房車，動力系統搭載與台灣本田生產的國產化車系完全相同，均為汽油3.5L的V6可變氣門引擎，最大馬力輸出值達270hp，平均每公升無鉛汽油可跑出10km的距離。
依照配備不同，剛剛在印度市場發售的全新2009年式HONDA Accord V6新車，建議售價介於248-253.5萬印度盧比（約合新台幣165.23-168.9萬元）
