終極探險家！2012年式HONDA Pilot 小改款登場

HONDA在2003年5月推出了Pilot車系，憑藉著可以撘載8名乘客和可以靈活運用的室內空間及最大的載貨能力與一流的安全性，在中型的SUV佔有一席之地。在2012年HONDA Pilot有時尚前端的設計，增強了室內功能並且在油耗方面以跑10.5km/L比起2011車型增加了0.84km/L，這讓它在美國環保局（EPA）燃油經濟性得到很高的評價。
2012年式HONDA Pilot，配有3.5L V6引擎可以輸出253hp/5700rpm的最大馬力和3.49kgm/4800峰值扭力， HONDA所創新Variable Cylinder Management（VCM）可變式汽缸管理系統，這讓有四輪驅動和二輪驅動的Pilot有著低油耗的表現，四輪驅動的綜合油耗 8.4 km/L，在二輪驅動的綜合油耗8.8 km/L，這在中型SUV是高標準。在懸吊系統採用四輪獨立懸掛，加上可變式四輪驅動系統Variable Torque Management 4-wheel drive system（VTM-4），得到平穩的操控和駕駛的樂趣。
在外觀上，最為明顯的改變就是車頭加入了一點點美式的風格更顯得大器，首先會讓人注意到換上了橫柵式電鍍水箱護罩，重新造型過的前保桿造型，巧妙的將霧燈融入保桿的造型，讓原本比較運動氣息的車頭變的較為豪華的質感。車體比較於前一代並沒有太大的改變，長×寬×高4861×1993×1803㎜，底盤離地大約20.24㎜較前代有稍微下降，在車子選購的級距的不同再車高方面也有一些差距。
當然，全新世代大改款HONDA Pilot新車車身尺碼也比原車更大一些，同時代表這款新車已經正式成為具備三排八人座（2-3-3）空間的全尺碼大型美規 SUV，中排乘客不但擁有獨立控制的空調出風口，也整合獨立控制溫度與風量的功能，當然在較豪華的車型上，可以使用USB播放功能，在後座有9吋的反轉式螢幕和DVD後座播放器，而中央控制台配置了衛星導航和藍芽免提通話設備。
安全配備方面，有VSA的車身動態穩定控制系統，並且整合了TPMS、ABS、EBD等功能，在車輛行駛時會持續監測轉向，確保車輛在任何路況都能穩定行駛。此外，全車SRS安全氣囊、氣簾，在加上ACE的車體設計都能有效的保護車內乘客的安全。
2012年HONDA Pilot有五種不同的級距，基本上在動態的表現上是差不多的有兩輪驅動和四輪驅動的選配，從陽春的LX到Touring在於影音設備的更換和衛星導航的選購。
