    重新編整車系增添入門等級,HONDA City 58.9萬元起跳戰車壇

2014年六月導入台灣國產化的City,在歷經將近一年的市場考驗後,因價格和定位問題遲遲無法交出漂亮成績單,為此HONDA Taiwan特地重新調整車系編成,在既有的VTi與VTi-S之下再添入門的V級距,並以新台幣58.9萬元的售價期望能創造銷售成績。

在亞洲市場都有亮眼銷售成績的City,於日本更以Grace之名推出油電動力版本,以寬敞的後座空間、高質感內裝、流線外觀設計、乘坐舒適性及高靜肅性等優異產品力,創下上市兩個月接單破萬的超人氣,比起原3000輛月銷目標足足超過兩倍2倍以上;然而在台灣City並未引起消費者共鳴,主要在於過高售價與市場競爭,為此HONDA Taiwan特地調整車系編成推出入門的City V,並採接單生產模式販售。因此在整個City的編成中,1.5L V售價為新台幣58.9萬元,1.5L VTi為62.9萬元,頂級1.5L VTi-S則是66.9萬元。

City V是以VTi為基礎,配備方面減少前霧燈、後方倒車雷達、15吋鋁合金輪圈(改以鐵圈取代)、前保險桿下導流板、後葉子板罩、引擎隔音棉、方向盤音響控制鍵、觸控式恆溫空調、可變密碼晶片防盜鑰匙、皮椅,鋼琴烤漆水箱護罩改以黑色取代,原本四支揚聲器減為兩支,門內襯扶手材質也從皮革改為硬質。而動力、車身尺碼等機械結構則沒有做更動。雖然如此,但City V仍是同級唯一配置後座出風口的車款,配上長達2600mm軸距設定,提供乘員最舒適的車艙空間。

全車系動力搭載1497cc直列四缸i-VTEC汽油引擎,最大馬力可達120hp/6600rpm,14.8kgm的扭力可在4600rpm就能全數盡出,不僅動力輸出比起主要的對手Vios(同為1.5L輸出可達109hp/14.4kgm)要來的強勁許多,用以帶動車重僅為1100kg的City游刃有餘,平均油耗依中華民國能源效率標示為17.5km/L(FTP美規換算值為約20.1km/L),兼具性能與節能的完美發揮。

基本上City在重新調整車系並增加低於60萬元的入門版本後,因本質優異或許有機會能提振些買氣,然而對消費者來說市場上的小型車(包含四門和五門掀背)的選擇性不少,因此能否殺出重圍創造佳績,恐怕還得看受不受消費者青睞而定。
