HONDA預告正在打造一款 800匹馬力的 CR-V油電賽車，將於2月28日首發

HONDA今日釋出一部預告片，片中出現的是一台十分特別的高底盤車款，具有寬體的碳纖維葉子板、紅色輪圈和超大的尾擾流翼。這輛車與本田 CR-V 大致相似，但它純粹是為了競速而打造的。按官方說法，這台車完整的技術細節將在 2 月 28 日發布，也將同一日發表，它的車名叫做 Honda CR-V Hybrid Racer，由本田性能開發中心（Honda's Performance Development ）和汽車開發中心，以及北美汽車設計部門的工程師和設計師鎮以創造性思維而設計和製造的。
此外，預告圖片提供了這款和一般SUV真正不一樣的地方，那就是車子裡外的碳纖維元素，可說是無一處不在，包括車頭和半個車門，都可以看得碳纖飾板，此外，前車門採蝴蝶式開啟，而後車門是完全打不開的。影片也顯示了引擎的局部和底盤的預告圖，讓我們想起了 NSX 的 V6油電動力車型。
Honda CR-V Hybrid Racer 配上爆龜式的碳纖維寬體套件，在車頂巨大的碳纖維尾翼看起來就像大家在美國派克登山挑戰賽的那些賽車配備了大得離譜的尾擾流翼。，而且因為它仍然是一輛 SUV，碳纖維車頂縱梁融入其中。我們還看到了車身上有許多進氣口、通風口和 NACA導管，車內配備了 F1式樣的賽車用方向盤，以及車內籠形架。
HONDA發布一份簡短的聲明，但沒有提供任何關於該車型的相關信息，只說它是“擁有大約 800匹馬力的賽道怪獸”。預計2月28日大家將能看到全貌。
