'99 HONDA Civic/CV3小改款提前亮相！

4/26的記者會邀請函上寫的明明是HONDA Accord 3000 VTEC的發表會，沒想到連小改款傳聞流傳很久的Civic/CV3車系也一起亮相了。
99年式的Civic從外觀看來最大的改變在於保險桿的樣式與前後燈組的修正。四門款的Civic在氣壩兩側嵌入了一體成型式的霧燈，CV3亦可選配投射式的霧燈，無搭載霧燈的車款則具有相當流暢的進氣孔。頭燈下緣的黃色反光飾條取消，成為全白式樣，整體看來與日規的Civic相當接近。四門Civic使用新設計的鍍鉻水箱罩，中央的橫條改為兩條，引擎蓋的凸痕變得更加明顯。尾燈組改得更具反射光澤，明顯的黃、白、紅三色組合確實提升了不少質感。
配備方面，99年式樣的四門Civic採用了Grade Logic Control斜坡邏輯控制系統，與Accord、Domani、CR-V等一致，與VTEC引擎、雙A臂懸吊系統合稱「VGA」的新口號，並以「高進化」為整體訴求。CV3則維持原本的E4AT+Lock Up四速自排變速箱。其餘豪華配備如核桃木紋飾板、O3空氣清靜機、核桃木紋終極自排鎖....配備的等級算是平了水準。
CV3令人驚艷地推出搭載電動高低可調RECARO賽車座椅的GX車款，可惜並沒有在現場展出，只在即將廣告片首映中匆匆一瞥。售價方面，CV3的手排款為49.9萬元，自排款為51.9萬元。四門Civic的車價則由配備不同，從55.9萬元起至59.9萬元。
