九二一大地震台灣中部地區災情慘重，慶豐集團所屬各關係企業由員工所主動成立的愛心園，除捐出二千七百萬元之外，更以最實際的行動，直接派人深入災區，以最直接的關懷，協助政府幫助偏遠地區最需要幫助的受災民眾。
在台灣受到此一嚴重的震災之後，由慶豐集團所屬各關係企業所組成的愛心園，馬上發動全體員工，展開捐款賑災活動，全面投人救災的行列，在捐款方面，總計有三陽工業捐出了1000萬元，三陽工業產業工會全體會員也捐出了600萬元，慶豐集團各企業員工愛心園捐出440萬元，慶豐銀行與全體員工合計捐出500萬元，慶豐人壽與全體員工也合計捐了160萬元，總共合計2700萬元。此一捐款將全部捐入行政院救災專戶，作為災區救難專款。除此之外，南陽、南誠全國各展示中心 ，也設立了捐款箱，供社會各界善心人土捐款，以協助受災民眾可以僅速重建美麗家園。
慶豐集團除了以最實際的捐款行動協助受災地區之外，在當天，慶豐環宇即派出了T-4車隊，運送礦泉水等生活必須品，前往災區，以供災區民眾使用。而南陽、南誠實業更在當天即透過廣播，讓在震災的波及範圍之內HONDA汽車部份車主知道，HONDA汽車為充分照顧車主，除了原有的全天候道路救援專線080-090807，提供所有的HONDA車主二十四小時的緊急救援之外 ，還提供HONDA車主工資零件的特惠服務，以減輕車主的負擔。
在震災當日，南陽、南誠更主動組成二 十部的CR-V災區救援車隊，投入所有的駕駛人員與後勤作業，直接接受當地政府的調度使用，作為受災地區民生用品與人員的運補之用，在山區交通因地震受阻的情況之下，偏遠山區的民生補給在面臨斷糧的情況之下，除了空投補給之外，CR-V的山區穿越能力，也肩負了部份偏遠地區民生物資的重要運補工作，適時的解決了偏遠地區受困民眾的民生問題，而許許多多的CR-V車主，更積極的想投入CR-V救災車隊的行列，為社會貢獻一己的力量，目前CR-V車隊仍持續在中部災區進行民生物資運補作業，也提供作為醫護人員、義工人員、法師、媒體工作者等災區最需要的工作人員的交通接送服務。
南陽、南誠實業，更在九二一大地震當天即在全國成立了6個救災中心，除積極協助政府投入救災行動之外 ，更在全國148個展示中心接受全省各地善心人士的物資捐贈，並以最快的速度運往最需要的災區。因為受災地交通狀況不佳，且救災車輛進出頻繁，為免車輛擁塞，影響救災的速度，有心捐助救災物資的社會善心人土，可將捐贈物資送往南陽、南誠全國各展示中心，由南陽、南誠實業代為運送。
在這波的震災當中，遠在日本的 HONDA汽車，在獲知台灣受到地震重創之後，極需救災用的發電機，以動力機聞名全球的日本HONDA汽車，即刻以最快的速度空運了八十五部的發電機，並透過消防署直接投入災區的搶救行列，充分展現了日本HONDA 汽車對台灣的人民關懷之情。
HONDA汽車更自即日起至10月31日止，凡每銷售一部HONDA汽車，即捐出車款的千分之一做為此次震災救難捐款，以幫助災區需要協助的民眾。
