相對於台灣的HONDA迷在苦苦守候Accord的上市，日本當地又已發表Inspire的全新改款，更高檔的設定，更好的性能表現﹔雖然無法在實際上滿足擁有的慾望，但還是請大家嚐個鮮吧。
HONDA原廠在日前發表了全新改款的Inspire車款，Inspire車款是由Accord衍生而來的車款，在日本市場上的定位，卻是比Accord更高一級的中大型房車，同時也更具有運動氣息。第四代Inspire整合了原本的Saber（Inspire另一雙生車款）與Inspire二型車款，也就是兼具豪華與運動氣息，並運用高科技技術與多功能的配備所打造出來。HONDA原廠將安排在6月19日於日本全國展示間正式開賣！
新款的Inspire將改款重點放在駕駛，操控以及摯動性能三個目標上﹔特別是開發了最新的”智慧巡航”系統，運用HONDA最尖端的科技，有別於傳統的定速巡航裝置，可以將車身維持在固定的車道上，當安全距離不夠時會自動減速﹔嚴格來說，這是自動駕駛的一個環節，尤其HONDA一直在發展所謂的人工智慧，發展自動駕駛系統也是理所當然。
另外新款Inspire也搭載了世界第一個CMS碰撞緩衝系統以及HONDA的E-Pretensioner安全帶預縮系統，可以預測碰撞發生並在事前提出警告，以及在狀況發生後將傷害減輕到最小。這些技術相信在未來會逐漸推廣運用在HONDA旗下的其他車系。
新款Inspire更搭載了一具HONDA全新的3.0升V6 i-VTEC引擎，運用了最新研發的可變汽缸管理系統﹔當引擎在巡航時，有半數汽缸，也就是有三缸會閒置，以降低燃油消耗，每公升將可以行駛11.6公里。同時廢氣排放也達到日本2010年的規範，也是唯一一款3.0升等級的車型合乎環保車型減稅的標準。
而Inspire車身也經過輕量化，然而剛性也同時提昇﹔經過HONDA特別調較的懸吊系統，整體操控性也更為提昇。車身內裝設計則以米色，黑色與金屬材質為主，這也是時下的設計主流﹔HONDA除了在操控性的提昇上下了不少功夫，對於行車舒適性也沒有忽略，在車室質感上也做了提昇。
