今年的東京車展，對於台灣的機車騎士們也是別具意義的，怎麼說呢？因為重型機車的開放引進，讓許多重車的愛好者，也開始關心有哪些新車型，除了BMW的重車系列外，國內的重車多以日系為主，而這次所要報導的HONDA車廠，更是國內日系重車的大宗，在這次東京車展上，更將展出51台機車，其中就包含了40種車型，AUTONET將為讀者擇要介紹。
其中最炫目的應該就是概念車款Griffon，而Griffon這個名字在希臘神話中代表半獅半鷲的異獸，讀者在看到照片後是否也覺得符合它的形象呢？這款概念車的意義主要是在於結合街跑車的性能與速克達的便利而來。
另外值得國內車迷注意的還包括了即將上市的新CBR1000RR與CB750，CB系列一直受到國內重車迷的喜愛，能見度也相當高，因此貿易商引進這二款新車的機會也相當大。另外HONDA也將展出概念車PS250，所呈現的是HONDA一項名為”N計劃”的的新生代車款，試探市場反應的意味相當濃厚。
同時為標榜其環保科技，HONDA也推出了Dio Z4 FI這款速克達，特色是在於其那具運用了PGM-FI程式控制的引擎燃油噴射系統的50c.c.四行程引擎，可以發揮更大的功率以及更低的油耗與廢氣排放表現，原廠也表示不久後也會上市。另外HONDA也將展示其Smart Key系統，這是一套新的防盜裝置。
