日內瓦新車！第八代HONDA Civic歐規版搶先曝光！完全歐洲五門鋼砲風格

眾所期待的第八代HONDA Civic，終於在日內瓦車展中亮相，雖然它是以概念車的身份出現，但造型與機械結構上約有90％以上的相似度，而且還是歐規五門掀背款式。
以Civic Concept姿態問世的第八代全新產品，車身寬度較現行款來得更具肌肉感，高度也來得低，看起來就是鋼砲姿態，而且還是很流線的日本鋼砲。已經確定從日本市場退出的五門掀背Civic，現階段僅在歐洲當地生產，動力部分在歐陸主打搭載於Accord上且頗獲好評的2.2升 i-CTDi柴油心臟，此外擁有140hp實力的新1.8升i-VTEC引擎也將成為歐規版首選，而2.0升引擎則是歐洲地區專用；此外還有三門掀背車型，但目前仍未公布。安全配備方面，VSA車輛穩定控制系統、側邊氣簾等都是標準配備。
此外，第八代全新Civic將由英國HONDA of U.K. Manufacturing Limited生產，在年底左右上線，並以柴油引擎車型打頭陣，預計2006年初正式在歐洲地區販售。至於四門車型，則共有1.5升與1.8升兩種動力配置，車身尺碼預估為4500×1720×1460mm，販售地區為日本和美國，當然今年國產化就是以此為基礎，至於長相如何敬請期待！
