獨家訊息或是全球首發似乎已經成為AutoNet的一大特色，因為編輯部又拿到23日於日本發表的新車消息，而且還是熱騰騰的。
即將在2月23日發表的Zest，可是HONDA為了進軍輕型車領域的新產品。這幾年日本國內市場競爭激烈，加上用車習慣與經濟環境影響，讓主流的中大型乘用車反倒變成弱勢團體，取而代之的是便利性與低油耗的660cc級距輕型車。當然身為日系三哥的HONDA，自然也不甘心輕型車被SUZUKI、DAIHATSU所掌控，因此在近年積極開發輕型車。
在日本HONDA的經銷商裡，看似平常的廣告傳單其實暗藏玄機，雖然表面上是為了Stream所做的促銷，其實在傳單左下角的Zest方式重點，尤其是Zest在2月23日才發表，當地經銷商手腳非常快，以側邊身影來吸引顧客。不過AutoNet也非省油的燈，除了量產車型外觀照片外，更有詳細規格數據。
與MITSUBISHI i走不同設計路線的Zest，車身尺寸為3395×1475×1635mm，車室高度足足有1340mm，比日本現行輕型車都來得高，相較之下乘坐舒適性也更佳；而配備方面將恆溫空調、四速自排、跑車式方向盤（和第八代Civic相仿）、衛星導航暨多功能影音系統等列為清單中，當然隨著後座6/4分離座椅的變化，讓空間運用度更大。
至於動力方面，除了直三658cc的i-DSI自然進氣引擎外，還有渦輪增壓加持，後者輸出功率為64hp/6000rpm、9.5kgm/4000rpm，驅動模式共有前驅和四驅兩種選擇。
可惜這種車還是無緣進台灣，否則肯定會造成風潮。
