HONDA新Lead都會通勤速克達，以性能房車概念打造

從1980年代誕生至今，HONDA Lead速克達就是曾在台灣紅極一時的「領導」，雖然這個車名已經在本地消失，不過在日本依舊是高人氣車種，也因此HONDA在日前推出全新世代的Lead，內斂卻有點個性化的造型，可是將四輪性能房車的設計因子注入其中。
搭載HONDA全新開發107cc四行程引擎的速克達Lead，乃針對都會通勤族所設計的全新機種，車身尺寸為1835×665×1125mm，離地最低高度只有105mm，座墊高度為740mm，因此對騎士與乘員來說上下車都非常便利。由於是都會取向，故造型上延續HONDA性能房車的設計風格，強調內斂時尚又不失運動感。而新Lead的最大特色，在於座墊下方擁有35公升的置物空間，這不僅能輕鬆容納兩頂半罩式安全帽，也是同級對手之最；此外，前方手套箱內也放置罐裝飲料等私人用品。
動力上新Lead搭載一具HONDA所開發的107cc水冷單缸OHC四行程引擎，具備輕量化與小型化的優點，採用PGM-FI電子控制噴射燃料系統，除了能發揮9.0hp/7500rpm馬力與0.95kgm/6250rpm扭力，以時速60km/h行駛平均油耗高達每公升50公里，而為了因應日本嚴苛的環保法規，特別加裝廢氣淨化的觸媒裝置。而安全性方面，除了前單碟後鼓煞的配置，還將COMBI-BREAK System制動力分配系統列為標準配備，以有效縮短煞車距離，並讓停煞時保持車身平穩。
每年銷售目標訂為18000輛的新Lead，售價為日幣273000圓，約合新台幣8萬元，然而這款新速克達是由中國廣州五羊本田所製造，再進口到日本販售，倘若如此似乎就有點貴，沒辦法，誰叫它是「Made in China」。
