    日本FR時代再度來臨,TOYOTA、NISSAN、HONDA紛紛投入

成本低且容易駕駛,FF前輪驅動車已經成為市場主流,而強調樂趣的FR後輪驅動車是否因此而消失?並沒有!反而有死灰復燃的跡象,因為日本TOYOTA、NISSAN甚至HONDA都將看到「錢景」,確定要推出FR車款。

早在TOYOTA於2008年1月宣布與SUBARU共同開發雙門小跑車(實際上為掛著TOYOTA廠徽的SUBARU Impreza雙門跑車版)之前,NISSAN與HONDA就已經著手進行開發FR小跑車的事宜,只不過被TOYOTA搶先一步對外公佈,因此對外界來說HONDA與NISSAN似乎是跟在TOYOTA屁股走。其實分析整日本FR小跑車市場,這幾年受到團塊世代(戰後嬰兒潮)陸續退休,再加上SUV產品逐漸下滑,追求樂趣的小跑車已有抬頭的趨勢,這也讓車廠嗅到銅臭味,決定投入更多資金在這方面。

根據AutoNet所掌握的訊息,TOYOTA的小跑車可能會是Celica或者AE86的後繼車,動力與底盤均來自SUBARU,而NISSAN新Silvia則會沿用下一代Fairlady Z的底盤平台,車長與車寬分別為4300mm、1700mm,動力上則搭載直四2.0升引擎,但在渦輪增壓的加持下最大馬力可達200-220hp左右。至於HONDA S2000的繼承車款,原本是採用FF結構,然而FR所帶來的操控感與樂趣可是無可取代,因此HONDA決定朝FR方向規劃,並使用硬頂電動敞篷還取代過去的軟蓬設計,以期讓新S2000能同時擁有雙門與敞篷兩種車體型態。

所以在2009到2010年這中間,除了TOYOTA的FR小跑車外,NISSAN Silvia、HONDA S2000後繼車也都將陸續到位,屆時必能再度引爆另一波FR王者爭奪戰。
