HONDA APE 50縮短你煞車距離，新增碟煞Type D車型

最受日本年輕族群歡迎的APE 50，可算是1970年代Monkey的競技變種版，2001年誕生至今因高樂趣，維修又簡單，故銷售狀況依然長紅，甚至還有不少同好組隊比賽，儼然形成一股APE熱潮。
由於APE 50很有復古味，又有點類似滑胎越野車的造型，在日本當地擁有許多改裝套件，然而HONDA為了讓安全性提升，遂隨著2009年式APE 50發表，順勢於車系中增加「APE 50 Type D」的車型，也就是增添前後輪碟煞及鋁合金輪圈，讓整體操駕制動性更好。
搭載CB系列空冷四行程單缸49cc引擎的APE 50，最大輸出馬力與扭力分別為3.7hp/7500rpm、0.37kgm/6500rpm，並搭配五速循環檔，車身重量只有75公斤，且長度和高度僅1710mm、970mm，於都會區中可說是靈活高手。如今HONDA針對APE 50所新增的碟煞版，採前單後單的設計，因此能有效縮短煞車距離，讓騎士能在享受樂趣之餘讓安全有保障。
千萬別以為APE 50只有50cc價格就很便宜，一般APE 50售價為日幣262500圓（新台幣8.2萬元），APE 50 Type D則是日幣309750圓（新台幣9.7萬元），這種身價在台灣可是能買到150cc等級的速克達！
