和文化創意產業精神最契合的車款：HONDA CR-Z Hybrid

HONDA CR-Z HYBRID

一個原本靠失業救濟金過活的單親媽媽，靠著哈利波特變得女王還富有；原本只是George Lucas公司旗下一個小部門的PIXAR藉由頂尖技術與絕妙創意的結合，變成舉世聞名的動畫工作室。「文化創意」絕對是當下最夯的產業之一，而為了回應這波文創風潮，英國HONDA特別舉辦了「Dream Factory」活動以表彰在音樂、電影、藝術等領域有傑出表現的工作者。
HONDA藉由網站、展覽、出版限量書刊和在英國各地舉辦研討會等方式來表揚在文化創意領域有突破性成就的二十名文化工程師。而「Dream Factory」活動現場的三個主題反應出文化工程師們與HONDA CR-Z Hybrid，這款世界第一輛運動風格的油電混合動力車有著共同的價值觀：提供人們樂趣、絕妙的設計概念、對所有事情都保持善意。
這三項被奉為圭臬的價值觀，的確能反映出文化工程師以往所做事蹟的中心精神。以Richard Reynolds為例，他身為「游擊園丁」運動的一份子，常常冒著被捕的危險在黑夜中開車載著鏟子、種子、肥料等用具在都市廢棄公有地開墾出一片花園綠地。即使曾經被警察威脅若不放棄就當場逮捕，也只是當下先離開現場等風頭過後再回去完成任務，這樣對生命熱情的態度和CR-Z Hybrid可說不謀而合。
英國HONDA公關經理Steve Kirk表示：「僅僅在幾年之前人們都還認為不會有運動風格的油電混合動力車出現，但現在CR-Z辦到了！因為每一個HONDA的工程師都和Dream Factory活動中的文化工程師有相同的熱情、無窮的精力與創新的欲望，才能讓HONDA達到這樣的目標。」
Dream Factory系列展覽將於5月21日到30日在倫敦The Dray Walk藝廊舉行，參觀者將可以親眼目睹文化工程師在音樂、藝術和設計方面的第一手創作；而Dream Factory接下來還從6月24日起以倫敦為第一站，一路至格拉斯哥(Glasgow)、布里斯托（Bristol）、布萊頓（Brighton）等地，在兩個星期之內舉辦數場文化創意工作講座，由文化創意工程師們分享他們的夢想及故事。
