關於電動化，HONDA正全方位出擊，我們昨天才報導HONDA和韓國LG的能源解決方案公司合資在美國俄亥俄州建造電池廠，以因應未來電動車產所需，而今年3月間，HONDA跨界與SONY簽署協定，合資成立 Sony Honda Mobility ，或可譯為索尼本田移動公司。到2025年透過這間合資公司，兩公司將合作生產和銷售電動車，而今日HONDA就宣布其首款車型將於 2026 年開始交付，並且公布合資公司將量產的首部電動車預告影片，

Sony Honda Mobility 索尼本田移動公司將生產的首部電動車，將在HOND本田汽車位於北美的工廠生產該電動車款，並將於 2026 年春季在美國上市銷售. 該車的原型車將會在於 2023 年 1 月 4 日舉行的消費電子展前夕在拉斯維加斯公開亮相。根據HONDA的企業戰略，索尼本田移動公司將於 2025 年上半年開始接受其首款車型的預售，並在當年年底前開始銷售。它將先在美國推出，之後會在2026年下半年開始在日本的交付。

此次HODA公布的預告影片，其實揭露的車款訊息相當少，預告子兩個部分，第一塊似乎是車子的引擎蓋。第二塊有可能車門的下半截。Sony Honda Mobility 索尼本田移動公司已宣布他們將專注於車輛的三個面相：Autonomy、Augmentation 和 Affinity，也就是自動化、強化和親和力。這台車將能夠實現有限度的Level 3三級自動駕駛，這意味著駕駛者將能夠把手從方向盤上移開，並在城市行駛過程中，達到 2+ 級自動駕駛。揭車商官方說法，該車型將有一個雲連接的用戶界面，將提供“駕駛之外的娛樂內容”。另外還將有一個從車載軟體運行到雲端的“整合式服務框架”。

Sony Honda Mobility 將專注於線上車輛銷售，並將提供個性化的售後客戶體驗。如我們前面提到的，HONDA在宣布此訊一消息的前兩天，HONDA和 LG 能源解決方案公司才宣布計劃投資 44 億美元在俄亥俄州杰佛遜維爾（Jeffersonville）附近建造一座電池工廠，並更新其在該州的其他工廠。到 2025 年，該工廠每年將生產 40 吉瓦時的鋰離子電池。

HONDA擁有多元化的電動車戰略，它同時也正在與通用汽車合作，將採用Ultium 平台用於即將推出的Prologue電動休旅和Acura ZDX。這家汽車製造商自己的 e:Architecture平台，將於 2026 年問世。到了2027 年，HONDA和通用汽車計劃在他們自己的 EV 專用平台上推出一款全新電動車。
