Honda宣布Civic Type-R接單爆炸而產能不足，即日起將停止接受訂車

台灣本田已確定將重新導入Civic，而本田車迷一直期待的Civic Type-R，原本也很有機會引進，而現在則是機會更加渺茫了。日本Honda今日（1月19日）在官方網站上宣布，因為產能遠遠不及供應市場所需求，Civic Type-R即日起將暫停接單。
Honda官方表示，全新的Civic Type-R於2022年9月發表，截至1月16日為止，目前消費者從訂車到車子出廠交付的等待時間將超過一年以上，因此在Type -R首發4個月後，不得不宣布從本月起開始停售。
有關停止接單，Honda表示，Civic Type-R自發表以來，深受客戶好評，我們收到了大量訂單。由於半導體短缺，零件到貨不穩定，以及物流方面的延誤，很難預測未來的生產。對於所有已經訂購的客戶，我們一定會實現交付CIVIC TYPE R。但為了未來如期交付，我們得暫時停止接受訂車。至於何時恢復訂車，Honda表示，我們將根據未來的生產情況，再通知大家恢復訂單的時間。
Honda Civic Type-R並不是唯一被迫停售的日系車款，去年Toyota也已宣布2021年推出的全新世代Land Cruiser，也因為訂單爆增，加上產能不足，因而無限期停售。而更早還有Suzuki三門版的Jimnty，2018年問世，台灣在2019年導入，由於 Jimny全球請單爆增，早已超乎產能數合，因此許多市場已停止接單，當然在歐洲還因為不符排放法規而停售。
