Honda Odyssey重回日本市場，只是改由中國進口

HONDA應該會後悔做了Odyssey停產的決定， 2021 年底HONDA中止了位於日本埼玉縣的狹山工廠生產日規Odyssey，並讓這台MPV直接在日本市場徐役。然而因應大眾的需求，這台家庭多功能休旅將再重返日本市場，只不過Odyssey不再在日本生產，而是由中國進口，並有全新而且冗長的車名，稱之Odyssey e:HEV Absolute EX Black Edition。
正如這冗長的車名所暗示的，它將搭載油電複合動力系統，同時外觀結合了黑色的套件，它的造型也和美規的Odyssey也有所不同。儀表板看起來更為時尚，結合通風口更細的恆溫空調系統開關設備。它還擁有尺寸以往更大的 11.4吋中控顯示螢幕，同時後排乘客也專屬的USB插槽。
第二排座椅為領袖級座椅，具有四向電動可調功能，兩邊都各有獨立的扶手。這些可加熱和傾斜後躺調整的座椅由帶有一對內置杯架的折疊桌隔開。在前排座椅中，HONDA為駕駛座提供八向電動可調功能，而前乘客座則為電動四向可調，兩者都可以加熱。在其他地方，還有三區恆溫空調系統、皮革內裝和電動尾門。
日規的Odyssey 從廣州廣汽本田的工廠進口，它是以 2020 年底推出的MPV所進行的二次改款。它採自然進氣 2.0 升汽油引擎為核心。成為油電複合動力系統的一部分，可釋出212hp最大馬力，最大扭力315Nm，並透過e-CVT無段段變速傳送動力，可提供 212 馬力的總輸出功率和232 lb-ft（315 Nm）的扭矩通過 e-CVT 傳送動力到四輪。
HONDA將於 2023 年第四季度在日本推出 Odyssey e:HEV Absolute EX Black Edition，並於秋季開始接受買家預訂。
