汽車科技特刊 i-VTEC 引擎科技 小小排氣量 馬力卻更大!

不少網友可能會對最近台灣本田所推出的CR-V感到相當好奇,畢竟,同樣的引擎每家都有,那又為什麼偏偏他們家的CR-V的DOHC i-VTEC引擎特別的讚?那又是讚在哪裡?
其實這款DOHC i-VTEC引擎真的是相當的不賴;i-VTEC 的中文意思為“智慧型可變汽門正時與揚程系統”,當然霹靂啪啦的一長串專業名詞到底代表著些什麼?其實i-VTEC系統表示能夠在不同轉速提供完美的燃燒效率,改進了燃燒效率、減低了進氣阻力,達到充足的動力表現與油耗經濟性,也同時具有 V6 引擎般的運轉靜肅性,能夠同時兼顧動力輸出與傑出的經濟性與環保性。
理論上進氣門關閉後,排氣門便會開啟排出燃燒後的廢氣,但是因為油氣間的黏滯性,還有汽缸之間各元件的摩擦力,總是在進氣門未完全關閉之時,排氣門就已經提早開啟,造成動力的流失,而為了改善這樣的動力流失,各車廠的工程師莫不努力發展新的科技,其中HONDA的工程師研發出VTEC,其憑著自然進氣搭配上電子感應器的方式,使用兩個不同角度的凸輪,在低轉速時用小角度凸輪,高轉速時切換成較大角度的凸輪,藉由自動偵測引擎轉速、車速、水溫、等各項條件,依行車狀況的不同自行判定凸輪的更換。讓容積馬力比超過10:1,也就是說排氣量只有1500CC的車子,輸出的馬力值卻能超過150匹。
由於VTEC引擎是一種能夠因應駕駛者的動力需求,配合調整汽門開啟的角度與時間,以達成提升動力與燃油效率的需求。因此,VTEC引擎具有小排氣量高動力輸出、燃油效率提升、高動力輸出、引擎體積的小型化等好處。在台灣本田推出的第一輛車二代CR-V上掛上了2.0DOHC i-VTEC引擎後,相信很快的,台灣的駕駛朋友很快可以了解到DOHC i-VTEC引擎的好處了!
