    難以言喻─HONDA Accord 3.0 V6 VTEC 〈I〉

2002HONDA重返台灣,以CR-V為開路先鋒,重振HONDA在台灣的士氣,2003年底全新第七代HONDA Accord以第二主將的身分,在台上市,投入國內最火熱的國產中大型房車市場。

1990年還是南陽代理的時代,南陽導入第四代車款在台生產,開啟了Accord國產化第一步,一直以來HONDA優異的性能與操控性,以及寬敞的空間規劃,深受眾多車迷愛戴,第四代導入國產時,採與進口Accord並行的方式銷售,進口車款使用2.2升引擎,國產則搭載2.0升引擎,在1990年代初期2.0升的國產中型房車,在國內並不似現在為市場的銷售主力,在2.0升房車還未盛行的年代,擁有2.0升房車的車主通常都有一定的收入水準。

1994年五代Accord上市,同樣採進口與國產並行銷售的方式,五代Accord車身尺碼較前一代放大許多,車身線條更為圓潤流線,完全跳脫原有的風格,甚至被本田車迷譽為最不像Accord的Accord,但是這一代的Accord也是在七代Accord上市前,賣的最好的一代Accord。1997年後受到對手輩出,Accord受到嚴重的威脅。

隔年〈1998〉六代Accord在備受期待下上市,外型風格稍稍回歸類似四代時的修長線條,向來HONDA強調的車輛本質與車室空間,六代Accord在同級車中仍是佼佼者,但當時國內汽車市場在惡質的競爭下,市場已轉為以配備多寡取勝,Accord的特點著實被埋了下來;國產六代Accord同時首度生產3.0升V6引擎之頂級車款,也是本次試駕國產七代Accord 3.0的開河前輩。

2002年HONDA以原廠身分回到台灣,隔年Accord導入國產,除了主力銷售的2.0升車款外3.0升車款也一併導入;國產化的七代Accord是以美規車款為基礎,再針對台灣市場修飾,外觀上七代Accord仍延續六代Accord的家族風格,但各項元素都與以圓化放大,明亮的大型三角型頭燈與修長的引擎室線調,與HONDA當紅敞篷車S2000非常相似,在光線充足均勻的室外,自引擎室前方延頭燈向後平視,由引擎室圓弧角度反射出來的間層光折射,是觀賞七代Accord最美的角度,而同樣被放大的尾燈組,乍看之下並不是太吸引人,但是卻非常耐看,越看還越別一番獨特的風味。
