    難以言喻─HONDA Accord 3.0 V6 VTEC 〈完〉

許多人再提起HONDA車系時,都會提出鈑金薄等於不安全的評論,這對於HONDA是非常不公平的,之所以會如此,大多得歸咎於媒體對於車禍事件錯誤報導手法,以及用車人習性,造成社會大眾對於HONDA車系錯誤的看法,直到現在,還是有許多人還以鈑金厚度來判斷車輛的安全與否,如此落伍的觀念是你我都得努力去改變的。

HONDA自Insight與S2000後開始引用G-CON〈G-Force Control〉設計理念,巧妙的以車體結構與不同厚度鈑金的耐潰縮度,有效吸收撞擊力道,保持車室座艙完整度,降低撞擊力道傳至乘客身上,確實保護乘客安全,因此就算是所謂的鈑金薄,也是原廠安全設計的一部份,安全這回事可不見是硬碰硬就是好的!國產Accord 3.0同樣引用G-CON理念,堅實的車身結構,能在撞擊中確實保護車內乘客安全,並擁有智慧型兩階段作動的雙前座防護氣囊,以及雙前座側邊防護氣囊等配備,側邊氣囊導入OPDS前座乘客坐姿偵測系統,有效掌握前座乘客坐姿,避免不必要傷害。除了對於乘客的完整保護,Accord 3.0在發生撞擊時引擎蓋、前保桿與雨刷會向下掉落,別說這不安全或是組裝不佳,這是為了減少行人受撞擊時的傷害,HONDA全方位的安全理念,並不僅止於車室內的乘客,不幸撞擊行人時,也必須將行人的傷害降至最低。

Accord 3.0僅有單一等級售價為107.9萬,整體表現可圈可點,尤其著重且均衡本質與VTEC引擎等科技運用凌駕於同級車,Accord 3.0有著不錯的產品本質卻抵不過台灣已近病態的市場潮流,相較下著重實用的配備清單以及高性能的訴求,對有能力購買百萬級國產房車的大多數國內消費者吸引力不足,且以往HONDA車系因高性能所留下來的形象包袱,更使得Accord 3.0空有一身好本事卻難以發揮。

試過Accord 3.0後,有種難以言喻的感覺,車雖好卻不容易被台灣大多數的人接受,在HONDA向來的造車理念中,車本應就是重本質、重性能與具備優質乘坐空間,HONDA車系許多人性化的設計理念,使HONDA所製造的車都很容易上手,但是這些其實都是正確的觀念,在台灣市場中無論以往與現在都不容易發揮,甚至是種衝突,台灣大多數人根深蒂固的用車觀念,一時間難以改變,但長遠來看,在全球化的趨勢,不只是HONDA,絕大多數的車廠也越來越注重車輛本質,台灣終究會跟著時代前進,一向是車界先鋒、也已在國際間備受認同的HONDA,在台灣的未來肯定有所斬獲。

而Accord 3.0的特質呼應了HONDA向來的造車理念,您若是有著與HONDA相同用車理念的朋友,Accord 3.0是您的優質選擇。但是在台灣市場中如何於短期內得到期望的成績,台灣本田在這時間點上,似乎必須找到一個能夠讓HONDA精神與台灣消費者觀念相平衡的產品訴求,以扭轉台灣消費者對HONDA錯誤觀感。
