廣州本田可望投產HONDA Airwave，台灣也有機會？

國人甚至車界的從業人員可能無法想像，在中國掛上同一品牌，但分屬不同生產廠家，可能是一種競爭而不是相互提攜的關係，當然這樣的狀況也混雜了中國內地地方主義的鬥爭，而在東風集團與本田技研在武漢生產HONDA CRV之後，同樣生產本田的武漢東風廣州本田，相競爭的態勢卻愈來愈明顯！
說也奇怪，多數外商汽車公司，在中國內地的合作廠家，多數都會維持一家以上的規模，過去僅此一家別無分號的廣州本田，生產的是HONDA Accord、 Fit-Fit Saloon與Odyssey三款車，但是在東風本田加入生產CRV之後，又傳出明年將導入今年東京車展即將公開的八代Civic，廣州本田為了要求表現，已經向原廠表明導入生產HONDA Airwave的強烈意願！
依照過去的規劃，台灣本田所導入生產的車款，必然以中國版本為基礎，在針對配備與包裝進行調整，在本田原廠也因為中國與台灣兩地市場規模的差異，在挑選車型上也是「先中國、後台灣」的順位，廣州本田因應市場的需求，加上剛剛在日本推出的Airwave小型轎旅車，也是基於Fit小型車底盤衍生而來的，生產機具與零件供應，多數均可沿襲原有Fit車系的現狀，對於廣州本田來說，想要大幅提昇銷售表現，最快的方法就是導入Airwave！
終於要在今年導入台灣本田屏東廠生產的HONDA Fit-Jazz，是否可能因為同樣的因素，而可能在上市後一年，也比照廣州本田要求，導入同底盤的Airwave在台生產，以吃下台灣近年來潛力無窮的小型轎旅車市場，後續發展相當值得注意，因為七代Accord推出後銷售不彰的情況，也促此台灣本田與日本青山總部，針對台灣市場傳統房車市場競爭激烈的態勢，已經讓原有議定的產品計畫大幅轉向！
