雖然離第八代Civic問世還有將近兩個月，不過HONDA原廠卻一反過去保守的態度，從日前就不斷放出相關訊息，如今又在日本原廠官方網站將全新科技三階段i-VTEC和Civic Hybrid以動畫呈現，讓更多人瞭解HONDA的技術。

從七月五日起將在HONDA日本官方網站現身的三階段i-VTEC和Civic Hybrid動畫，是以動畫方式讓所有人瞭解這兩種新技術如何作動，尤其是直四1.3升引擎所採用的三階段i-VTEC，更可進行低轉速、高轉速與汽缸關閉等三種模式；而當然與IMA電池模組配合的Hybrid系統，也是第八代Civic的利器。

其實HONDA這次為了第八代Civic，宣傳上作了許多突破，尤其國內臨陣將Jazz給換下，相信不僅是創舉，也說明原廠的魄力，或許這款車對於HONDA而言重要性和影響層面遍及全世界。
