    替代燃料車款的說故事時間(下)

第二次世界大戰結束後,又過了一段時間,人類慢慢從戰爭的重創中康復,經濟起飛,生活也逐漸富裕優越起來。進入千禧年的那一剎那,世界並未像某些組織預言的瓦解毀滅,但仔細想想,許多在上一世紀埋下的禍根,現在的確是一一顯露。毀滅兩字,或許過於沈重,但誰又能保證它不是以另一個形式在我們周遭進行?

起飛中的Hybrid科技
你或許不知道,其實在我們成長的過程中,或多或少都曾接觸過「Hybrid」而不自知。所謂Hybrid,直接照字面翻譯有「混合物」和「混血兒」的意思。

一般的電動腳踏車,由於「混合」了汽油引擎和腳踏力,所以也可歸類為「Hybrid」技術的一種。其他像是美國西雅圖路上電纜車、礦區卡車、和潛水艇等等,只要能結合兩種以上的燃料發電,就能稱為「Hybrid」。

現在引發大眾熱烈討論的Hybrid科技,就是結合了石油和電池的能量,有效增加哩程數,卻能使廢氣排放量大幅降低的技術。就替代燃料車款的研發上,是不可忽略的一大步。

最後的救星?
但是Hybrid還是無法使我們完全脫離對石油的依賴,於是車廠紛紛決定,人類需要一個全然不同的救星,它就是「氫氣」。HONDA步上當年CHRYSLER的後路,投入相當龐大的心血與金錢在氫氣燃料電池的研發上。

HONDA FCX就是順應而生的新一代救世主。現在為它扣上這頂大帽子或許還嫌過早,因為在氫氣的取得上,HONDA還未找出一個簡便且符合經濟效應的辦法。但放眼全球市場,又有誰敢站出來取而代之呢?就讓我們一起屏息以待,祈禱HONDA不會有和CHRYSLER當年相同的命運吧!
