先前日本HONDA社長福景威夫曾公開表示，日後HONDA每年將推出一款Minivan，如今每月平均銷售僅2000輛的Elysion，也將在今年度進行變臉中度改款，且動力心臟也完全一新！
根據AutoNet所獲得的訊息，HONFA將針對中度改款的Elysion進行強化手術，除了既有的V6 3.0升 250hp引擎外，也增加一具美國MD-X用的3.5升VTEC心臟，V6 SOHC 3471cc排氣量，可輸出265hp/5800rpm最大馬力，扭力更高達35.5kgm/3500rpm，如此一來就能和TOYOTA Estima等對手相抗衡。
內裝鋪陳方面，中度改款後的Elysion將採用七人座設計，其中第二排座椅為獨立式頭等艙椅，不但能作類似車床的變化，亦具備電動調整，且地板上還附有腳踏墊，完全以尊貴為前提。當然質感與用料材質多作升級，頂級車款還附贈皮椅與金屬/木紋飾板。而外觀造型方面，將針對頭燈組、水箱護罩作重新修飾。
從2004年問世以來，Elysion便成為HONDA相當重要的車款，最主要是該品牌在日本的房車、跑房車市場紛紛失利，如今更將希望寄託在Minivan上，一旦中度改款後銷售若能提升，勢必對未來的發展更有展望。
