全球第一輛量產SRS機車，HONDA Goldwing夠安全

對於騎機車的人來說，這雖然是便利的交通工具，但依然是皮包鐵，一旦遭受撞擊時所受的傷害遠大於鐵包皮的汽車，但機車的樂趣卻遠大於汽車，因此HONDA為了降低騎士的傷害，早在多年前就進行機車用SRS的系統。

在經過多年的努力後，北美HONDA（HAM）終於在日前發表全球第一款搭載SRS氣囊的重型機車，也就是機車中ROLLS ROYCE的旗艦Goldwing。名為「Goldwing Airbag」的重型機車，與一般型Goldwing並沒有太大差異，僅增加氣囊和儀表內氣囊偵測顯示功能。

當前輪受到撞擊時，便會藉由感知器連動座椅下的氣囊，以適時吸收騎士所受的衝擊力道，同時氣囊作動系統有任何異常時，便會顯示在儀表內，告知騎士可能要回服務廠進行檢修。截至目前為止，不少機車廠都積極研發兼具性能和安全的重型機車，而身為龍頭的HONDA在此時推出「Goldwing Airbag」，可是有指標性的意義，因為這代表機車用氣囊是可實現的，而非遙不可及的夢想。

所以在未來的十年內，搞不好所有重型機車，甚至所有包含速克達在內的二輪機車，全都將氣囊列為標配或選配呢！
