再等兩年，HONDA CR-X後繼車樂趣省油更進步

從80年代起就風靡車壇的日本小鋼砲CR-X，可是HONDA征服年輕人的重裝武器，最後一代CR-X Del Sol因地位被SUV給取代，遂在21世紀開始前就進入歷史；但HONDA可不會就此罷休，因為經過市場再度演變，新車型即將在2009年問世。
2006年11月洛杉磯車展中，HONDA推出Remix的雙門掀背小跑車；2007年的日內瓦車展，一款名為Small Hybrid Sports Concept小跑車也正式亮相，而這些都是測試市場反應的概念車，一為美規版，另一為歐規版，據說目前在造型上為五五波，然而最終版本的概念量產車型仍在HONDA的機密處，且今年東京車展就看得到廬山真面目。
縱使仍未明確這款新型跑車是否仍沿用CR-X名號，但姑且就讓我們以新CR-X稱之。其實這回準備在東京車展出現的新CR-X概念車，算是日本規格的提案，先前美國與歐洲設計中心都亮出底牌，亞洲地區僅剩下日本版本尚未公開，且根據有力消息指出，這款新CR-X概念車應當最接近量產型態，撇開超未來的內裝設計，單就外觀造型約80﹪類似2009年量產的模樣。
預測新CR-X的全長約在3800mm，寬度為1720mm，高度則是1300mm，動力心臟採用Civic Hybrid相同的系統，也就是直四1.3升與電動馬達的組合，不過在輕量化的技術下，新CR-X車身重量差不多在1100公斤左右，因此性能勢必會比Civic Hybrid更強，油耗表現也更佳經濟性。
