    運動性Minivan再現,HONDA新Odyssey蓄勢待發

以低底盤、大空間在市場造成轟動的HONDA Odyssey,從第一代現身以來就引領風騷,將單廂Minivan帶到轎式休旅的境界,如今隨著新世代家族設計概念的確立,新一代Odyssey也即將在2008年10月誕生。

算是低底盤中大型Minivan始祖的HONDA Odyssey,自從2003年10月第三代以車身高度僅有1550mm,且低重心提升操控性贏得消費者認同後,對於即將問世的第四代車型原廠也計畫賦予相同的概念,估計在4780mm車長和1800-1820mm左右的寬度,給予約莫1550mm的車身高度,一來是可輕鬆停入機械式停車塔,二來在低底盤設計下創造不錯的乘坐空間。據了解2008年10月上市的新一代Odyssey的基本線條和現行款差不多,但水箱護罩與車頭將比照新Accord的路線,以更氣派又不失運動感為主。

動力上因追求高經濟表現,現行的直四2.4升引擎依然繼續沿用,但輸出馬力將向上調整為170hp和210hp左右,且HONDA可能會全面改成CVT無段自動變速系統,來取代現行款CVT與5AT共存局面,而為了彰顯最頂級的運動版本,七速手排模式當會成為標配,且不排除設計成方向盤撥片升降檔設計。

不過這款七人座休旅車依然無緣進台灣國產化,為什麼?轎式休旅車的銷售都已經往下滑,且中大型Minivan更因為油耗與家庭成員數量少等問題,在台灣市場必然不適合。
