第四代HONDA Odyssey登場，再創成熟男人新主張

打從1994年第一代車型登場以來，Odyssey成功引領中大型較式七人座休旅車風潮，更讓HONDA的業績翻了幾翻，歷經14年的努力，原廠在日本終於推出全新大改款的第四代Odyssey，甚至還找上好萊塢熟型男喬治克隆尼擔綱代言。
沿用第三代相同底盤結構的第四代Odyssey，車身造型基本上變化不大，但在經過設計師重新詮釋HONDA家族風格後，整體在成熟穩重之餘還散發出有點壞壞的氣息，在2830mm軸距下架構出4800×1800×1545mm車體，與Accord/Inspire相似的水箱護罩及頭燈組，則在運動感中顯現高級與豪華。車型上共分為Li、L、M、Absolute四種等級的第四代Odyssey，前三種等級配置215/60R16輪胎，後者則因強調運動路線搭配225/45R18尺寸，雙排氣尾管更成為全車系標準行頭，以凸顯家庭和樂趣並存的定位。
重新設計的車室空間鋪陳，雖然軸距同為2830mm，但因車身高度略做調整，且排氣尾管、油箱等均使用扁平化設計，故獲得2850×1535×1220mm的寬敞空間，當然也因重心降低讓操控穩定性更好。配備部分，頂級車型仍將第三排電動收納列為標準配備，同時像電動座椅、真皮內裝、大型天窗、DVD/HDD/衛星導航系統（含ETC整合功能）等則均在行頭清單中，讓消費者可以自行搭配組合。同時為了提升安全性，ACC車距定速系統、LKAS路線偏移警示系統、Smartkey、DBW線傳、全方位顯像系統、HID氙氣頭燈、EBD、ABS、VSA、EPS電動感應式方向盤、前後雙A臂、六具SRS氣囊/氣簾（延續至第三排）等，也都在第四代Odyssey各種等級車型上出現。
動力方面，第四代Odyssey配置一具代號K24A的直四2.4升（2345cc）DOHC i-VTEC+PGM-FI引擎，依照車型等級共有兩種不同功率輸出，M、L、Mi為173hp/6000rpm、22.6kgm/4300rpm，運動版的Absolute則是206hp/7000rpm、23.7kgm/4300rpm，173hp馬力車型配置CVT變速系統組合，206hp則採用五速手自排系統（方向盤撥片升降檔）且為了減輕油耗上的負擔，全車系更配置一個綠色ECO按鈕，啟動後可降低油耗，因此經原廠數據顯示第四代Odyssey的平均油耗為13.2km/L及11.4km/L，比起第三代進步約10﹪。
目前HONDA訂出第四代Odyssey的售價落在日幣259-338萬圓，約合新台幣83.6-109.1萬元左右，雖然過去創下相當優異的佳績，然而面對少子化社會與經濟景氣低迷影響，或許未來Odyssey將面臨不小的挑戰。
