HONDA Fit 2010年有弟弟，1.0升外加Hybrid？

基於景氣等問題，TOYOTA決定將新車開發重心擺在小型車與Hybrid車上，而HONDA身為TOYOTA可敬的對手，不僅退出F1，並中止NSX的開發計畫，現也有意在2010年推出比Fit小一號的1.0升掀背車，且還提供Hybrid給消費者選擇。
根據AutoNet所取得的獨家消息，小型車的汽油引擎與Hybrid乃接下來HONDA的開發重點，目前新Insight已經正式發表，CR-Z與Fit Hybrid則是2009年的重頭戲，另外2010年還有一款尺寸定位屬於Fit弟弟的小型車，不僅動力心臟搭載1.0升引擎，甚至還可和電動馬達組合成Hybrid系統，估計Hybrid可創造出每公升44.0公里的平均油耗，比TOYOTA Prius的40.0km/L還要漂亮，單純汽油動力則獲得25-30km/L的表現。
至於底盤結構，則與Fit共用，但車身尺碼將為3590×1590×1500mm左右，內裝鋪陳是以年輕活潑但不失人體工學便利性為主，變速系統僅提供CVT一種，頂級款將配置方向盤升降檔功能。而售價方面，據了解HONDA希望能壓在日幣90-160萬圓之間，合新台幣約27.3-48.5萬元，並將目標鎖定在TOYOTA Passo、DAIHATSU Boon等1.0升對手。
所以在今後這幾年內，HONDA將回歸經濟性、實用性的原點，或許在不景氣的年代HONDA極有可能再創如第一代Civic的風潮。
